GREAT SOUTHERN ON SHOW IN SINGAPORE
Thirteen Great Southern businesses will take centre stage at Singapore Indulgence, a prestigious event to be held from the 24-26th May 2007.
Indulgence 2007, an Austrade initiative, promises to showcase the best of Western Australia’s wines, gourmet food and tourism. The location is one of the world’s major trading centres- Singapore.
Chairman of the Great Southern Development Commission (GSDC), Bruce Manning said that the GSDC’s TradeStart partnership with Austrade gives local companies access to Austrade events, but regional partnerships help maximize the impact of participating companies.
“The GSDC has teamed up with the Great Southern Region Marketing Association (GSRMA), to coordinate and support a regional presence in Singapore. It is important to achieve a good balance of wine, tourism and value adding businesses to fully represent the diversity of the region.” Mr Manning said.
The Indulgence exhibition will be held in the Upper Club Room at one of Singapore’s most vibrant food and beverage hubs, Chijmes.
“The event will focus on both general public and trade inquiries. This is a fantastic opportunity for any company keen to explore the Asian market place and take advantage of the extensive trade linkages,” Marie Redman, Chair of the GSRMA said.
“The GSRMA is committed to working with strategic partners to help its members realise their full potential, whether it is on a local level or internationally. The GSRMA can be a catalyst for members to launch their marketing efforts over seas.”
